Look for a neutral aroma and earthy palate tinged with vanilla, clove and black pepper heat. The clear liquid within the bright-red bottle is a grain neutral spirit distilled with wild Irish nettle, Irish grain and “sausage tree” fruit, which resemble elongated potatoes (some say sausages) hanging from the branches of the Kigelia Africana tree.
