Most importantly the 2020 does not have the hard edges that are sometimes found in wines from this site. Bright saline accents drive the persistent, deceptively understated finish. Mostly floral, with a sweet violet aroma allied to red cherry. Slightly spirity and quite simple but very precise. The wine is full, refreshing, with a light frame of tannins and not without some rusticity, but overall well balanced.

Ruby red in color with aromas of red currant, raspberry, rose, and geranium. Well-structured tannin on the palate with a long finish.

Varietal: Nebbiolo

Nebbiolo is not necessarily a particularly easy grape to cultivate. Indeed, its very late ripening time often means that yield is very low, and they are also quite susceptible to various diseases and forms of rot. However, in their native Italy and in many other countries around the world, wineries persevere with this varietal due to the fact that few other grapes can produce wines as wonderful, complex and flavorful as those made with the Nebbiolo grape.
