A very polished cabernet sauvignon with currants, chocolate, and hazelnut. It’s medium- to full-bodied with silky tannins and a flavorful finish. Very long. The texture and flavor stays with you for a long time. One for the cellar but fun to taste. Better after 2025.

There are nearly 58,000 cases of the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon, a blend of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Malbec, 4% Petit Verdot, 4% Tannat, 2% Petite Sirah and 2% Merlot, matured in 27% new French oak. Marked by hints of pencil shavings and dried herbs, it delivers enough cassis and black cherry fruit to be considered excellent. It's medium to full-bodied, with a velvety texture, yet is juicy and fresh as well, with a mouthwatering finish.

Juicy and direct, with a good blast of fun raspberry and boysenberry compote notes, laced with red licorice and fruitcake hints. Shows the brambly/toothy finish of the vintage, so drink in the middle term while the fruit has the upper hand. Drink now through 2030. 57,889 cases made.
