Part of this brandy's story is its luminous orange-honey color. Aromawise, Lepanto is almost Cognac-like in its grapey, piquant, generous but focused bouquet; it presents a very disciplined nose. The off-dry flavor brims with mellow fruit at entry and midpalate, then fades neatly into a tobacco leaf, tea leaf, tar-like finish that's off-dry and tight.
