Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.
Rapid Ship
Items listed as "rapid ship" are in stock and available for immediate pickup or shipment. Those that do not have the "rapid ship" icon are housed with our supplier and must be transferred to our warehouse before they can be picked up or shipped. This requires 4-6 business days but usually occurs sooner. Some products will list both options of availability as there will be a certain number in stock, with the option to order additional bottles to be transferred from the supplier.

This historic estate borders two of the region’s titans in châteaux Figeac and Cheval Blanc. Sourced from vines more than 35 years old on average, growing on gravel and sand on a clay substratum, the 2015 (a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc) spent roughly a month in stainless steel tanks and wooden vats before ageing for 18 months in oak barrels, half of them new. Gareth Birchley: Dark fruit and some shoe polish. A lovely silky texture and wonderful fruit concentration and balance. Just beautiful. Vincenzo Arnese: Elegant, rich and well balanced, with some development and a pleasing texture. Tannins and acidity are well integrated. Arthur Coggill: Really savoury: roasted earth and meat, red peppers and coffee. Red plums and damsons. Red fruit-focused palate, with bright acidity carrying the fruit. Juicy, with a saline, toasty finish.
There are few regions in the world with stricter regulations in regards to wine production and grape varietals than those found in Bordeaux, France. Made with guidance from Stéphane Derenoncourt and from a great terroir near the Saint-Emilion/Pomerol border, the 2015 Château La Tour Figeac is a classic effort that offers lots of ripe red and black fruits, tobacco, damp earth and truffle aromas and flavors. It's ripe, polished and balanced, with sweet tannin, integrated acidity, and a clean, classy feel, all of which make it a joy to drink already. Nevertheless, it should be at its best from 2020-2032. The 2015 La Tour Figeac has a pleasant red cherry, strawberry and cranberry nose, quite pure and floral in style with well integrated oak. The palate offers more black than red fruit laced with tobacco and cedar, quite focused and well defined with an edgy finish that demonstrates more nervosité than its peers. Good potential.
