The 2024 Pinot Noir Bodega Thieriot Vineyard is one of the very finest wines I have tasted off this site, which was planted in 2018 in one of the most pedigreed districts on the West Sonoma Coast. Broad, sweeping and dramatic, the 2024 soars out of the glass. Dark red-toned fruit, graphite, white pepper, blood orange, mint and rose petal are all vividly sketched. Bodega Thieriot was planted with Calera cuttings from Platt. It's a stunning wine in every way.

Composed of 100% Calera, the 2024 Pinot Noir Bodega Thieriot Vineyard pours a youthful but slightly deeper ruby color, especially compared to the Summa. The nose shows notes of pine, bright black raspberries, grenadine, cardamom, and baking spice. Energy-packed, it is compact and sporty, with orange oil citrus, mouthwatering iron tones, and chiseled definition that carries through the persistent finish. Give it a couple years, but it has great drive. Drink 2027-2042.
