Red cherries, cranberries, slate, cloves, bay leaves and lemon peel on the nose. Medium-bodied with fine tannins and excellent freshness. Bright. Drink or hold.

Subtle, revealing rose, strawberry, cherry and white pepper aromas and flavors. Tightly wound, with solid grip, this feels youthful and is evolving at a glacier pace. Reveals fine balance and length, with a chalky, mineral finish. Sangiovese, Colorino, Canaiolo and Ciliegiolo. Best from 2025 through 2040. 3,750 cases made, 2,647 cases imported.
Winery
Intense, deep ruby red color with subtle glimmers of garnet. The wine shows a splendid, full nose with hints of blackberries and pleasant notes of tobacco and spice. In the mouth, the wine is soft with an elegant, fresh finish and a persistent, generous acidity in the aftertaste. Full of mature tannins and fruitiness.

Italy remains very much a 'land of wines', and one could not imagine this country, its landscape and culture, without it.
