A "boomerang" is a gift from one bartender to another; a cocktail sent via a regular. It’s a sign of respect and an indication that the regular who delivers it is a good customer. BroVo's Boomerang is a complex cherry liqueur, rich and thick, and with lots of flavor. It’s Micah Melton's gift to us, and we are forwarding it on to you! Combining cherry, apricot, walnut, cinnamon, orange, vanilla and peppercorn, it is then sweetened to 15% sugar with 30% ABV. We start with our amaro base, a distillate that combines NGS with rhubarb and is then aged in used whiskey barrels. We transfer this base to tanks, where we next infuse dried cherry, apricot, walnut, orange, and vanilla into the base. We balance the base, then add cinnamon, peppercorn, and cayenne to finish. It is mixed with agave nectar and rests racks. Enjoy it in a Blood & Sand cocktail, or try it mixed with your favorite bourbon, scotch or rye.

Region: Washington State

Washington state currently holds host to over six hundred wineries, each producing wines using the many classic grape varietals which flourish in the arid, dry region to the east of the Cascade mountains. Since the Washington wine industry began in the beginning of the 19th century, great efforts have been made to irrigate the semi-desert which makes up much of the state, and the results have been enormously successful in regards to creating an environment in which a wide range of grapevines can flourish. There are certain fine wineries in the wetter western region of Washington, although these make up less than one percent of the region's overall wine production levels. Recent decades have seen red wines becoming increasingly popular in the United States, and many of those produced in Washington are considered to be amongst the country's finest produce.

Country: United States

Of all the New World wine countries, perhaps the one which has demonstrated the most flair for producing high quality wines - using a combination of traditional and forward-thinking contemporary methods - has been the United States of America. For the past couple of centuries, the United States has set about transforming much of its suitable land into vast vineyards, capable of supporting a wide variety of world-class grape varietals which thrive on both the Atlantic and the Pacific coastlines. Of course, we immediately think of sun-drenched California in regards to American wines, with its enormous vineyards responsible for the New World's finest examples of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot based wines, but many other states have taken to viticulture in a big way, with impressive results. Oregon, Washington State and New York have all developed sophisticated and technologically advanced wine cultures of their own, and the output of U.S wineries is increasing each year as more and more people are converted to their produce.
