The nose is nutty and yields sweet sherry, Jaffa orange, old leather, instant black coffee, and a suggestion of ozone. The palate is oily and textured, with more sherry, dried fruits, nutmeg, and dark chocolate. The finish lingers with brine and pepper. - Fall 2019

This is an 18-year-old single malt produced at Bunnahabhain Distillery. Look for a golden hue and aromas of peat and brine underpinned by vanilla. Powerful from the first sip, waves of peat, iodine and oceanic brininess pull back just before the point of becoming overwhelming, and finishes with a welcome brush of vanilla. Dilution tames the smoke a bit and pulls out hints of menthol, spearmint and black pepper.

Colour: Rich mahogany gold. Nose: Fragrant with notes of dried fruit, rich honeyed nuts, toffee and slight hints of spice. Palate: Notes of mellow sherried nuts, dried fruit and rich oak, with toffee and a slight tang of salt from its maturation of 18yrs at the coast. Finish: A dry fruit finish with a hint of spice and salt.
