Light, glistening orange. An exotically perfumed, highly expressive bouquet evokes ripe red berries, peach nectar, vanilla and candied flowers, and a smoky mineral quality builds in the glass. Sappy, seamless and expansive on the palate, offering intense raspberry, nectarine, fig and blood orange flavors that are braced by a spine of juicy acidity. Clings impressively on the pit-fruit-driven finish, leaving toasty lees, vanilla and floral notes behind. This extremely impressive wine was fermented and aged for 10 months in new and used demi-muids .

#94 TOP 100 CELLAR SELECTIONS 2019. This is a rich, impressive wine, with spicy flavors from wood aging that are well integrated with the ripe berry fruits. Together, they give intensity, sophistication and power, making this a perfect candidate to enjoy alongside food. Drink now, although the wine should age well through 2022.

Elegant and enticing, with harmonious layers of mango, poached peach and ripe pineapple notes that are well-spiced and matched with rose water and brioche accents. A well-crafted, distinct rosé. Grenache and Rolle. Drink now through 2021. 1,500 cases made, 600 cases imported.
Winery
Aroma: Concentrated aromas and flavors of dried citrus, peaches and passion fruit give this rosé a powerful nose. Palate: A bright acidity with glazed pear and pineapple filling the mid palate. Garrus’ toasty notes are reminiscent of a vintage Champagne without the bubbles. Finish: A long, vertical texture with a creamy finish that features rich, spicy notes. Powerful and elegant.

Region: Provence

The wines of Provence have proven themselves time and time again to be amongst the finest and most recognizable in the world. With over two and a half thousand years of wine making history, the region of Provence is one of the most ancient wine regions on earth, and one which is more successful and ancient than ever. Over the centuries, many different cultures and peoples made Provence their home, from the Romans to the Gauls, the Catalans and Greeks, making the wine culture of Provence a unique and fascinating one for lovers of interesting wines. Provence is most well known around the world for its rosé wines, most commonly made from the Mourvedre grape varietal, however, their red wines are once more gaining popularity due to their exciting fruit flavors and wonderfully herbal notes.
