Wine Spectator
Full-bodied yet balanced, this weaves together grilled wild herbs, forest floor and charred mesquite with fresh red and black fruit and a succulent beam of acidity. Glossy and round through the medium-length finish, where a dusting of black pepper emerges. Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah. Drink now. 1,200 cases made, 500 cases imported.
Winery
A deep violet color, this wine has a layered nose of blackcurrants, blackberries, turning to cacao, spices, and flowers. A full bodied wine with black fruit notes, a touch of minerality, and chewy tannins.
