The 2013 Moulin-à-Vent Le Clos du Moulin underwent double sorting, was fully-de-stemmed with no carbonic maceration, and aged for 15 months in 10% new barrels, the remainder one-year old. I has a refined bouquet with pure dark cherries and blackcurrant notes, a touch of orange blossom in the background. Winery
Beautiful, dark ruby red in color with purple reflections. Fine and elegant nose with delicate, fresh notes of blackberry and black cherry with a hint of spice. Powerful and ample on the palate with spicy notes (pepper, licorice), slightly roasted and black fruit flavors (black cherry.) Rich tannins, spicy and mouth-watering persistent finish.

In the beautiful French wine region of Burgundy, there is archaeological evidence to suggest that there has been viticultural activity going on for at least two thousand years.
