Harlan Estate Winery

California Wine, Napa Valley

About Harlan Estate Vineyard Wine

For Nearly two decades, Harlan Estate Winery has been committed to creating a California "First Growth" wine estate.

Set in the western hills of Oakville, rising above the fabled Napa Valley "benchlands", the Estate is over 240 acres of natural splendor; oak-studded knolls and valleys, roughly 15 percent of which are under vine, planted to the classic varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. But more than that, is a family homestead, a place of great inspiration, carved from the raw land, built for generations.

Harlan Estate 1993

"Rated 95 - This Harlan Estate wine is an opaque purple-colored wine with spectacular ripeness, purity, and potential. Dense, full-bodied, with a chocolatey, toasty, mineral, and blackcurrant-scented nose, this wine has a rich, full-bodied, chewy texture nicely buttressed by ripe tannin. In addition, the wine reveals more noticeable tannin in the finish, particularly when it is compared to the 1992 or 1994. This is another 20-25 year wine." - Robert Parker Wine Advocate 12/96

Harlan Estate 1999

"Rated 97 Collectibles - This Harlan Estate Wine is enormously complex, rich and concentrated, with layers of currant, black cherry, blackberry and chocolate-mocha flavors that are intense and focused, finishing with a long, detailed aftertaste that keeps revealing extra facets of flavor and depth. Best from 2004 through 2020. 1,700 cases made." - Wine Spectator 11/15/02 // “Rated 97.
