A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, the Orma 2020 Orma is richly concentrated and midnight black in appearance. It presents considerable intensity in terms of its ink-like flavors of wild plum, blackberry confit, dark spice and cured tobacco. The wine wraps heavily over the palate, imparting lots of important textural richness along the way. You are best off serving a wine of this depth and magnitude with a classic T-bone cut bistecca alla fiorentina.

A luscious red, with plum, blueberry and blackberry flavors holding court, wrapped in accents of tobacco, vanilla and oak spices. Shows fine length in the end, with echoes of fruit and spicy oak. Dry, persistent finish. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Best from 2025 through 2033. 2,800 cases made, 500 cases imported.

The central Italian region of Tuscany is widely understood to be one of the world's most famous and highly regarded wine regions. The beautiful rolling hillsides and medieval towns and castles which are a key feature of the area are also home to many of Europe's finest wineries, and extremely high quality vineyards growing the distinctive Sangiovese and Vernaccia grape varietals which are the flavorful backbone of Tuscany's wonderful red and white wines. Since those times, a vast amount of Italian land has remained primarily for vine cultivation, and thousands of wineries can be found throughout the entire length and breadth of this beautiful country, drenched in Mediterranean sunshine and benefiting from the excellent fertile soils found there. Italy remains very much a 'land of wines', and one could not imagine this country, its landscape and culture, without it.
