Golden amber color. Aromas and flavors of baked pear and raspberry nougat, clover honey soaked baked dates, bananas foster, and menthol and cedar with a velvety, dryish medium-to-full body and a long finish with suggestions of bananas foster, baked apple and sweet spices, vanilla cream, and claro tobacco leaf. Intensely sweet baked fruit flavors and aromas make for a nice sipper and an even nicer mixer.

The subdued aroma is woody, with just a hint of vanilla. But the palate tells a more complex story, opening with oak and vanilla before rounding to dark fruit, a fleeting hint of pineapple and dusty cocoa powder. Cinnamon and cayenne sparks emerge on the long, warming finish. Made primarily with Barbados rum blended with a smaller amount of older Jamaican rum (aged 10 to 15 years). (Best Buy)

The result is a profound structure spiced with notes of cinnamon and clove, whose smoky quality adds texture. An ideal companion for cocktails. TASTING NOTES Nose : Hints of black peppercorn, clove, cinnamon, baked cherry, prune, molasses; later sniffs encounter forest, leaves, black tea, dry stone. Palate : Entry is fruity with white raisins, dried pineapple, and is off-dry. midpalate is spicy, piquant, minerally, and significantly drier than the entry stage. Ends spicy.
