Ruby red color with tints of purple. On the nose, aromas of fresh black cherries, spices are particularly prominent. Flavoursome with good acidity, the palate is filled with the taste of cherries and plum jam as black pepper and rhubarb.

The Corvina varietal grape is one of Italy's most famous products, and is used in the production of some of the country's most famous and widely admired wine. Amarone and Valpolicella wines use a high percentage of Corvina grapes, and these wines make the most of the grapes' bright crimson color, and richness of sour cherry flavors Because the Corvina grape has a naturally high level of fruit acid, it is perfect for barrel aging This process rounds out the harsher, bitterer aspects of the grape, and produces wonderfully soft, mellow yet complex red wines.
