Pale salmon-copper hue with notes of strawberries, tangerines, persimmons, bread dough and some chamomile. Lovely freshness and fruitiness, with a medium body and sleek bubbles. Vibrant red and orange fruit throughout. 53% pinot noir, 32% chardonnay and 15% pinot meunier. 7% red wine (pinot noir from Bouzy and Les Riceys and meunier from Vallee de la Marne).

Elegant and extremely pretty aromas are comprised by notes of strawberry, cherry, raspberry, lemon rind and subtle yeast hints. There is good energy to the exuberantly, almost foamy, medium-bodied flavors that possess solid depth on the very dry and borderline austere but refreshing and inviting finish. This definitely drinks drier than the stated dosage would suggest, and overall, this is really quite a good rosé.

Pale orange. Fresh redcurrant and tangerine aromas are complemented by talc and allspice, with a seductive floral quality building in the glass. Lively and focused on the palate, displaying nervy citrus and red berry flavors and an undercurrent of chalky minerals. Finishes with very good clarity, grip and tangy persistence, the red fruit and mineral notes repeating.

Fruity and primary up front, the NV Champagne Le Rosé pours a pale salmon with an orange tinge, which they achieve with the addition of 7% red wine from the villages of Bouzy and Les Riceys. Offering attractive aromas of orange zest, nectarine, and white strawberry, it’s medium-bodied and has a rounded mid-palate, with a supple mousse, a juicy and fresh style, and a floral flourish on the finish. This is a very charming and versatile rosé to enjoy now or over the coming 6-8 years.

Smoky, mineral aromas and lean, lively and wonderfully tense expression on the palate; fresh with understated complexity and clean saline finish.

A vibrant rosé, with a lively, creamy mousse and flavors of white raspberry, peach skin, toast point and salted almond. Reveals hints of grated ginger and pink grapefruit zest on the finish. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier.
Winery
As one of the first rosé Champagnes, Le Rosé benefits from more than 60 years rosé-making experience of Lanson in its elaboration. It is soughtafter for its pale salmon colour and characteristic freshness reminiscent of the Black Label.

Varietal: Champagne Blend

There are few wine regions of the world with as much influence or fame as that of Champagne in France. The sparkling wines from this special area have long been associated with excellence and magnificent flavors, and much of their success has been down to the careful blending of fine grape varietals in order to achieve spectacular results. Most commonly, Champagne wines use both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir varietal grapes in more or less equal measures, often boosted by a small quantity of Pinot Meunier for extra bite. The Chardonnay varietal grapes offer their acidity and flavor to the bottle, and help with the dryness associated with quality in this type of wine. The Pinot Noir, on the other hand, gives strength to the wine, and gives Champagne its distinctive 'length' of character.

Region: Champagne

There are very few wine regions in the world quite as famous as Champagne, and the sparkling white wines which are produced there are drank and enjoyed all over the globe as a result of their excellent quality, distinctive features and their association with grandeur and celebration. Wineries have been operating in the cool, damp north-easterly region of Champagne for hundreds of years, and over time have mastered the art of making the most of the Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Petit Meunier grape varietals which grow there across the rolling hillsides and kept in the region's unique 'Champagne caves'. Most commonly, these three varietals are blended together to produce the sparkling white wine, but the popularity of single variety Champagne wines are on the increase.

Country: France

It is widely understood and accepted that the finest wines in the world come out of France. Whether you are drinking a vintage bottle from one of the famed Grand Cru wineries of Bordeaux - such as Chateau Margaux or Chateau Lafite-Rothschild - or a more simple and affordable bottle from one of the lesser known appellations in Burgundy, the likelihood is that the wine is packed full of intense and interesting flavors, and has a fine, balanced structure typical of almost all French produce. This reputation for excellence is taken extremely serious by the French, with dozens of regularly updated laws and regulations ensuring the quality and accurate labeling of wines. Such dedication and passion for fine wine, representative of the region in which it is produced, means customers can be assured that when they buy a bottle from France, they are buying something almost certain to please and delight.
