Since those times, a vast amount of Italian land has remained primarily for vine cultivation, and thousands of wineries can be found throughout the entire length and breadth of this beautiful country, drenched in Mediterranean sunshine and benefiting from the excellent fertile soils found there. Italy remains very much a 'land of wines', and one could not imagine this country, its landscape and culture, without it.

Silky-smooth textures contrast a saturation of red and black fruits, while nuances of graphite and liquid stone add further complexity. The finish is structured and very long with youthful tension, leaving a tart blackberry tinge and fine-grained tannins.

The nose scatters crushed rocks and herbs over damp earth, while undertones of tea leaf, new leather and cherry syrup add nuance. The palate stays earthy, tangy and peppery, with strong flavors of blackberries and more herbs, and the tannins are polished and smooth.

Winery Notes

The assembly of two different personalities such as Sangiovese (50%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (50%) blended together, gives this wine a unique character. Dark ruby red in color with purple reflections, the nose opens with notes of blueberries, blackberries and incense going up to sandalwood and graphite. In the mouth it is dense and complex with hints of blackberry jam and cinnamon. It then evolves with a strong balsamic note. The lively tannins coat the palate but are supported by nice acidity. Flavorful and intense at the end.
