The nose opens to forward notes of stemmy spice, clove, ripe cherries, and forest earth, and this medium-bodied offering is lightweight on the palate, with fine tannins and a modest and clean finish. It’s a charming wine, although its stemmy nature is somewhat pronounced on the nose. Drink over the next few years.
