Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.
Rapid Ship
Items listed as "rapid ship" are in stock and available for immediate pickup or shipment. Those that do not have the "rapid ship" icon are housed with our supplier and must be transferred to our warehouse before they can be picked up or shipped. This requires 4-6 business days but usually occurs sooner. Some products will list both options of availability as there will be a certain number in stock, with the option to order additional bottles to be transferred from the supplier.

A blend of 76% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2005 Beausejour Duffau-Lagarrosse has a deep garnet-brick color. It needs a lot of shaking and swirling to awaken subtle scents of cigar box, underbrush, and dusty soil, giving way to a core of dried mulberries and preserved cherries, plus a waft of cumin. The full-bodied palate has a racy backbone invigorating the densely laden, muscular black fruit and earthy layers, supported by grainy tannins, finishing long and minerally. A gorgeous wine with a long life ahead of it!
There are few regions in the world with stricter regulations in regards to wine production and grape varietals than those found in Bordeaux, France. The 2005 Château Beausejour (Duffau-Lagarrosse) is beautiful, and I think is a step up over the Château’s 2001. A healthy ruby/plum hue, with no sense of lightening, is followed by a beautiful perfume of red and black fruits, spice-box, tobacco, and white truffle-like nuance. With the vintage’s dense, focused, inward style, it has notable freshness, fine tannins, and a great finish. It’s a beautiful, powerful, yet elegant expression of the fabulous terroir. Enjoy bottles anytime over the coming 15 years.
