Red and black fruits, spicy wood, and savory herb notes emerge from the 2022 Château Capet Guillier, a medium to full-bodied, ripe, round, nicely textured, impressive Saint-Emilion that has plenty to love. It’s not the most complex wine out there, but it brings a beautiful mouthfeel and texture. The blend is 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc, and it was raised in 50% new barrels.
