Plenty of Pauillac character in terms of its tannic density and dark fruits, a little angular. Once you coax oxygen over it to let the fruit out, there is attractive spice here and a juicy finish, and a more generous side to the raspberry and blackberry fruits becomes clear. This is successful with a touch of smoke on the finish. 40% new oak. A yield of 42hl/ha. Drinking Window 2021 - 2036.

A red with perfume and character of sliced fruit such as blackberries and currants. Full body, chewy tannins and a fresh, clean finish. Very tannic but I like the fruit-acid balance. Better in 2018.
