The 2016 Haut-Bages Libéral offers classic Pauillac bitterness toppled with crunchy and well composed fruit. This is a medium bodied wine still with notes of blackcurrants, cedar and wood in the taste. The aftertaste is a bit dry and it would need another 3-5 years to come around.
