The 2021 Petit Gravet Ainé showed well out of barrel. Dominated by 90% Cabernet Franc, it has a fresh, saline bouquet that managed to achieve phenolic ripeness. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy tannins on the entry that segue into a creamy-textured mid-palate and a very cohesive, white pepper- and garrigue-tinged finish. Excellent!
