The 2024 Côte de Brouilly Cuvée Zaccharie, the only cuvée aged in barrel (10% renewed per annum), has a pretty, fulsome bouquet compared to the others: black cherries and raspberry coulis scents billow from the glass with fine delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, silky smooth, the acidity perfectly judged as usual, with a patina of vanillary new oak to be subsumed on the finish. This will be a love Côte de Brouilly, but afford it two or three years in the cellar.

Winery Notes

Very beautiful deep red colour, aroma of very ripe fruits, blackcurrant, blackberry, round and warm on the palate with a lot of spices. Although it’s already pleasant, this wine is presently still a little young, and offers keeping potential for 10 years.
