A more reserved nose is also cool and fresh with its slightly riper array of white orchard fruit, citrus confit and soft earth nuances. There is both more volume and power, if less minerality, to the broad-shouldered medium weight flavors that deliver solid length on the mildly rustic finale. This isn’t a wine of finesse but then again, Aloxe blanc never is.
