Although located north of the village near Pommard, the Fremiet is very Volnaysian in its style, on the fruit, but structured. Fine and suave, elegance characterizes it. It also benefits from a few years of ageing, which brings even more brilliance to its bouquet, typically dominated by red fruits. If the attack in the mouth is on the fruit, the final touch is often saline or salty.
