91-94 An admirably discreet application of wood frames slightly riper aromas of poached plum, anise and an array of floral elements. The utterly delicious and highly energetic flavors possess an almost delicate mouthfeel while displaying solid length and a similar minerality on the balanced finale. This could use better depth though that shouldn’t be an issue over the longer-term. I would say though that as pretty as this is, it’s somewhat atypical in the context of what most versions of Clos de la Roche are like.
