There is a point of ripeness on the bouquet recalling blackberry marmalade or baked plum, yet it is well integrated across the wine’s medium- to full-bodied texture. Vinified without oak to preserve purity of fruit and site expression, the 2023 finishes with pretty freshness. With 26,000 bottles produced, Le Pievi offers an accessible and characterful interpretation of Bolgheri Rosso.
