The organic I Custodi 2022 Etna Bianco Ante (“Etna” spelled backward) is a pure expression of Carricante from Contrada Taverna. Additional bottle aging has served the wine well. It has a luminous, bright appearance, with fleshed-out tones of stone fruit, preserved lemon and increasing richness. Smooth and quite textural, it is sourced from 1.5 hectares of volcanic sand at 700 meters in elevation and is vinified entirely in stainless steel. Production is 8,000 bottles.
