The 2024 Mâcon-Uchizy Les Maranches has an attractive nose with sea cave/marine scents unfolding in the glass. The palate is well balanced with a fine prickle of acidity, fine weight and a little more persistence on the finish compared to the other cuvées. This comes recommended.

Macon Uchizy Les Maranches is issued from a parcel made of chalk, clay, and rocks located in the town of Uchizy. The vineyard is 25 years old and is cultivated following organic and biodynamic methods. The Macon Uchizy Les Maranches is aged in foudres (wood barrels containing 48hl) and is kept on yeasts during eight months before being racked and prepared for bottling in July or August.
