86-88 The 2017 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Rouge, which comes from purchased fruit (for now), offers pretty red cherry and cranberry scents mixed with vanilla on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with a sweet, quite candied entry, and fleshy for the vintage, leading to a pretty, quite caressing finish. Very fine.
