The 2022 Crianza was produced with Tempranillo grapes from San Vicente de la Sonsierra and Labastida. It fermented destemmed and matured in French and American oak barrels for 14 months, with rackings every six months. It has a textbook nose of modern Crianza, with the creamy oak, the spices, toast and smoke interwoven with ripe berry fruit in a sleek profile. It's juicy and lush with the ripeness from the warm and dry year (the summer had countless heat waves and was super dry). It comes in at 14.5% alcohol, with a pH of 3.75 and 5.8 grams of acidity. Young and lush, with surprisingly fine tannins, it's a triumph for the year. 450,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in January 2025.
