The varietal 2020 Amayna Pinot Noir has moderate ripeness and 13.5% alcohol, even in this warmer year, mixing grapes from different parts of their vineyards on different soils. It has a certain austerity and integrated oak after 12 months in 228-liter barrels and 1,200-liter oak vats and then let to settle in stainless steel for eight more months. It has notes of red berries and spices, quite straightforward, and a medium-bodied palate with fine tannins. 16,000 bottles were filled in November 2021.

A rich Pinot with coastal influences that has world-class elegance and quality. The influence of the sea and soil combined with slow ripening make for a deep ruby-red wine with a touch of violet and great aromatic complexity. The nose evokes ripe fruits with elegant notes of vanilla and spice from the well-integrated oak.
