Brilliant copper color. Fruity, pure aromas of juicy red apples, fine tea, roasted walnuts, cinnamon-butterscotch, and leather with a velvety, lively, dry-yet-fruity light-to-medium body and a warming, interesting, medium-length creme anglaise atop warm apple compote, mixed peppercorns, pepperoncini, and tobacco ash finish. A fresh, dry Calvados for after-dinner sipping.

The topaz gleam in the glass signals caramel apple on nose and palate. Overall, this apple brandy balances fruit and oak, with tart plum skin and lemon peel leading into mellow clove on the finish.

Calvados Boulard VSOP is the culmination of blending different Calvados Pays d'Auge from 4 to 10 years old. COLOR: Old gold. NOSE: Rich, fruity notes with light wood and toasted nut aromas. PALATE: Well balanced harmony between vanilla, wood and ripe apple. SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Suitable for drinking on its own or as an ingredient in cocktails.
