Bertani proudly proclaim that this historic wine was served at the coronation of King George VI of England, in 1937. Around 40% of the Garganega grapes are picked in September and the must kept cool, while the rest are picked in early October and macerated on the skins for one week. The wine then matures for nine months in a mix of cement and oak vats. Its creamy apricot aroma leads to a delicate mineral palate, airy and textured, with some pear and melon then a sapid and creamy finish. Classy. ... More details
