94-96 Barrel Sample. Here is a powerful, full-bodied wine that brings out the rich botrytis flavors of the year while also presenting bright, crisp acidity. The wine is concentrated, tight and fresh at the end.

Rated 95 by Wine Spectator
This has unctuous texture and remains a touch rambunctious, with crystalized ginger, peach, apricot and quince flavors that have yet to meld fully. Should come together given ample time. Really solid. Best from 2018 through 2038. 6,000 cases made.

Rated 94 by Vinous Media
91-94 Full medium yellow. Pineapple and mango along with lemony botrytis and sexy vanillin oak notes on the enticing nose. Big, rich, dense and powerful, with and impressively rich semillon texture; pineapple and ripe, smoky yellow peach flavors are given a penetrating quality by strong, harmonious acidity. This firmly built, long Sauternes ought to age very well.
Winery
Beautiful, intense golden color. The nose presents delicate oak followed by notes of honeysuckle and acacia flowers. This wine is full bodied and generous, mingling notes of residual sugar and freshness. The fruit is discreet but the balance is perfect. The finish is long and lingering, accompanied by a hint of bitterness, that helps to enliven the flavors.
