The varietal 2022 Crios Torrontés was produced with a 50/50 blend of juice from Cafayate in Salta and Paraje Altamira in Valle de Uco, fermented in their respective regions and then assembled in her winery in Mendoza. It has typicity, notes of orange blossom and other white flowers, but also a citrus side; it's crisp and aromatic with 13% alcohol and very good freshness and acidity that makes it easy to drink and refreshing, with a mellow mouthfeel. 325,000 bottles produced and bottled throughout the year from a single master blend.

The 2022 Torrontes Crios is half from Caayate, Salta and half from Paraje Altamira, Uco Valley. Steely in hue. The fragrant nose of lychee, lemon, herbs and a hint of basil is followed by a taut, malic, nimble palate. This is a young, bold, summery wine.

Enticing aromas that are strikingly similar to Viognier, with hints of white pear, white flowers and citrus fruit. On the palate, it has a beautiful structure and acidity along with enticing fruit flavours that keep you coming back for another sip. Plenty of body for a wine that shows such delicate aromas and flavours. Fruity, floral and yet still quite dry.

For lovers of New World wine, the region of Salta is generally regarded as being amongst the finest and most geographically interesting in the world. Situated at the extreme north of Argentina, Salta is a wine region which is both at an impressively high altitude, as well as an extremely low latitude, being a mere twenty four degrees from the equator. However, these two factors cancel each other out when it comes to viticulture, producing a superbly warm and fertile environment for the cultivation of vineyards. The mountainous landscape of Salta reaches elevations of up to 3,000 meters above sea level, an astonishing figure which demonstrates just how unique the region is. Within the main wine provinces of Cafayate and Molinos, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes (the region's flagship varietals) grow to full ripeness in the blazing sunshine, and produce exceptionally flavorful wines.
