This was aged for five years in the Caribbean and three years in Sherry casks in Spain’s Jerez region, hence the name. Look for a golden hue and vanilla and brown sugar aromas, which are echoed on the buttery palate. Dividing the aging process into two different stages converts Dos Maderas 5+3 into a very special aged rum which is unique in the world, with a bouquet, ?avor and aromas which are hard to compare. Toasted aromas in the mouth, with hints of vanilla and nut. Extremely smooth and elegant on the nose. Serving tips: because it is an aged rum of great quality we recommend you drink it neat or with a few ice-cubes and, for the connoisseur, as the main ingredient in select cocktails.
