Sugared mint, citrus blossom, crushed rocks, hints of lavender, and lime all emerge from the 2016 Collioure Chrysopée Blanc, which is a blend of 90% Grenache Gris and 10% Grenache Blanc brought up in tank. It’s concentrated, medium to full-bodied, and textured, yet also straight up seamless, silky, and long. I struggle to think of a better white I’ve tasted from the region. This fabulous white can be drunk over the coming 2-3 years or cellared for a decade or more. ... More details

The 2016 Collioure Chrysopée Blanc, a blend of 90% Grenache Gris and 10% Grenache Blanc, was barrel fermented and aged in demi-muids. It shows subtle aromas of toasted grain, lime and orange zest. Medium-bodied, with tremendous briny freshness and length, it should be enjoyed over the first few years of its life.
Winery
Appearance: Very intense golden hue. Nose: Complex on the nose with notes of fleshy fruit such as apricots and peaches, followed by a floral bouquet. Palate: Fresh attack, full of minerality and salinity with great length on the palate.
