Long-term Pre-arrival Items
Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.
Rapid Ship
Items listed as "rapid ship" are in stock and available for immediate pickup or shipment. Those that do not have the "rapid ship" icon are housed with our supplier and must be transferred to our warehouse before they can be picked up or shipped. This requires 4-6 business days but usually occurs sooner. Some products will list both options of availability as there will be a certain number in stock, with the option to order additional bottles to be transferred from the supplier.

Firm and juicy on the palate, with a medium to full body and a very long, tight-grained finish without chewiness. Nicely fluid in the middle, but refined. Drink from 2027.
There are few regions in the world with stricter regulations in regards to wine production and grape varietals than those found in Bordeaux, France. Here, in the home of the world's finest wines, the type and quality of grapes used is of utmost importance, and the legendary wineries which work on the banks of the Gironde river have mastered the careful art of juice blending to find the perfect balance for their produce. The 2022 Olivier has held onto its attractive bouquet, with an expressive mixture of blackberry and blueberry fruit, iris flower and hints of black olive. There is a sense of brightness. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity, brimming with energy and tension. It builds toward a structured and revivifying sapid finish that begs you back for more. This is an excellent Château Olivier.

Black cherries, smoked earth, leather, and graphite all emerge from the 2022 Château Olivier, a concentrated, rich, medium to full-bodied 2022 that has building tannins, solid mid-palate depth and richness, and a great finish. Give it a few years for the tannins to round into form, and this beauty will cruise over the following 15-20 years.

The Wine Independent
This 2022 is a blend of 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and 6% Petit Verdot. I find here a somewhat restrained nose, opening out to reveal sweet and perfumed notes of rose petals, dried cranberry, currant, coffee bean and dark chocolate, with a modest expression. The palate presents this core of desiccated fruit laid over a somewhat open-knit structure, with a bold texture and ripe, fine-boned tannins. It does not have the confidence or finesse of some in the vintage, but there is substance and grip here, as well as a sense of balance and integration, and this should come good given time. Tasted twice. The alcohol on the label is 14.5%.
