88-90 The 2016 Saint Aubin 1er Cru Charmois had some reduction like the Champlots, but I feel there is more fruit intensity here. The palate is fresh on the entry with fine acidity, touches of walnut and hazelnut lending it an air of Meursault with a harmonious and lightly spiced finish that lingers in the mouth. Drink over the next 4 to 6 years.
