92-94 The 2020 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru, from the lieu-dit of “Le Petit Maupertui”, is endowed with darker fruit on the nose thant Chuerlin’s other cuvées, a little broody when I tasted from barrel. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, granular in texture with a lively and quite sustained finish. The whole bunch lends a light pepperiness here.
