Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.
Rapid Ship
Items listed as "rapid ship" are in stock and available for immediate pickup or shipment. Those that do not have the "rapid ship" icon are housed with our supplier and must be transferred to our warehouse before they can be picked up or shipped. This requires 4-6 business days but usually occurs sooner. Some products will list both options of availability as there will be a certain number in stock, with the option to order additional bottles to be transferred from the supplier.

A strong effort that features 40% Cabernet France, the 2020 La Tour Figeac derives from vineyards bordering Figeac where the latter’s vein of clay soils peters out. Offering up aromas of dark berries, orange rind, peonies and vine smoke, it’s medium to full-bodied, with powdery tannins and a sapid, succulent core of fruit. There are few regions in the world with stricter regulations in regards to wine production and grape varietals than those found in Bordeaux, France. The 2020 La Tour Figeac is a gorgeous wine. Aromatic, lifted and super-expressive, La Tour Figeac is all class. Crushed red berry fruit, mint, rose petal, spice and dried flowers are all nicely woven together in this silky, mid-weight Saint-Émilion. I would give this a few years in the cellar, but it should drink well with minimal time.

Coming from vines located between Cheval Blanc and Figeac, from more sandy soils, the 2020 Château La Tour Figeac reveals a deep ruby/purple hue as well as gorgeous aromatics of red and black fruits, loamy earth, flowers, and spice. Pure elegance on the palate, it's not massive and offers more medium-bodied richness, yet has terrific mid-palate depth, ripe, polished tannins, and a great finish. This is a great vintage for this estate, and while it’s already hard to resist, this beauty should evolve for 15-20 years in cold cellars.

Still lots of tension here, the oak aspects restricting some of the enjoyment at this stage, but sleek and well defined. A spiced aspect is clear with toast and smoke and lots of sticky black liquorice so wait a few years before opening. Good clarity, feels well worked with energy.
