Disgorged in March 2024 with a dosage of three grams per liter, Doquet’s NV Premier Cru Champs Libres is a blend of 57% Pinot Noir and 43% Chardonnay, largely based on the 2018 vintage and complemented by 21% reserve wine from 2017, all vinified in enameled steel. It offers aromas of sweet orchard fruit, white flowers and honeycomb. Medium- to full-bodied and rich yet racy, it possesses a delicately chalky profile, concluding with a sapid finish where bitter phenolics gently assert themselves.
